Question on App-v true streaming ability in SCCM 2012

We opted out of using SCCM 2007 with app-v because the ability to do true app-v streaming really wasn't there compared to a true app-v server. Right now we have app-v servers and manage this outside of SCCM.
 
So here's my question. With SCCM 2012 is there true app-v streaming like an actual app-v server or is the streaming limited like it was in SCCM 2007.
 
I attended TechED and though I was in two related sessions I didn't see that question answered. After reviewing materials from those sessions I did read "Improved Streaming" however I'm not clear on what that actually means. If all the streaming ability is there within SCCM itself just like it is in an actual app-v server ?
 
Does anyone know the actual answer to this one ?
 
The latest info I have is that SCCM 2012 SP1 will support app-v 4.6 SP2 and app-v 5.0 beta but I'm still looking for an answer on the streaming question.

Thanks for that link. What I have found the most helpful so far is the free download chapter Integrating App-V with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2012 from the ebook Microsoft Application Virtualization Advanced Guide by Augusto Alvarez. I tried to post a link but it seemed to be blocked by this forum. I did try to attach it as a .zip file to download from this post.
 
I will still be looking further as I can because I'm not sure if the above includes the most recent changes with SCCM SP1 and it doesn't cover app-v 5.0
