Hello,

We're considering going the gpo install route for new setups, but I've noticed in testing that after upgrading currently clients to sp1 via an advertisement, the newly setup gpo install will re-run on their machines, with a message of "Client is installed and is the same or lower version. Initiating repair." in the client's ccmsetup.log.  Is there anyway to avoid re-running the install if an upgraded client is currently at the latest version?

Thanks in advance.

Are you using the "/logon" switch in your command to install the new client?

Wouldn't that cause an issue with the SMS 2003 clients that need to be updated?

Otherwise, I could make sure all clients are updated, and then add this switch....
