Can anyone confirm that the RTM release of R2 does NOT add a "Virtual Application Packages" node to the console?
Node I am referring to can be seen here:
http://blogs.technet.com/blogfiles/virtualworld/WindowsLiveWriter/Bet.5andBetaSCCMR2HowtogetaQuickTestLabf_DD81/image_2.png

I upgraded my SP1 lab server to R2 and I can go to the packages node and create a new Package or a new Virtual Package however I do not see the seperate node for Virtual Apps.  Was this an RTM change or is something goofy in my lab?

Thanks!!

I see the same as you.  I also right click on Packages New ... and am offered Package and Virtual Application Package.

Packages and Advertisements are the only two nodes I have under Software Distribution.

Cool.  Thanks for the follow up.  Glad to know I am not going insane.  Well at least not from this anyway.
