I am doing OSD and have completed several labs. Some of this is being done at a remote sites so I often use SCCM to RDP in and check the status of the machine, make sure that there are no anomalies. The first two remote campus locations were fine. Now I when I try to connect via RDP I get the error "This Computer Can't Connect to the Remote Computer" when I try the remote tools I get an Access Denied error. it asks me for my credentials and then denies them regardless of the level of authority the acount has.

I have tried re-installing the client thinking it was broken and checking to make sure the display driver for remote connections was installed. The driver is installed and the client re-install was sucessful but still the same problem.

I can ping the machine. Open up a remote command prompt, get hardware information, distribute software etc. Just no RDP.

Any ideas?

Have you checked the firewalls, software or hardware, that may be between you and the clients?

I agree. Can you RDP from a machine at the same site to the target machine?

I finally figured it out. We use a custom "msgina.dll" that was breaking RDP. All is good now. Thanks for your help.
