I am able to trigger "Machine Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle" from the client side, and i am getting the latest patch updates from the SMS server, and able to install them on the SMS client machine.

My question is:
Is there any way that i can check when is this process finished???
i mean when is that "Machine Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle" is finished???
or some other way so that i can do some coding on the client machine and check when is this finished

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds more like you want to initiate the machine policy cycle from the SMS console so that you do not need to do it from the actual computer. Is that correct? If so, check out the client actions @ http://www.myitforum.com/articles/8/view.asp?id=7099. When using this tool, it will give you (the operator) a success or failure message on the policy refresh.
