Status: offline 		In SMS 2003 SP3 this option is grayed out and only allows the Remote Desktop option. Is this option available in SCCM 2007 for Visti workstations? The reason for asking is in my network environment RDP is disabled on the clients so the only way to remote into a system was through Remote Assistance.

Status: offline 		Remote Assistance was redesigned in Vista; it is backwards compatible but an XP system cannot be used to provide remote assistance to Vista: http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/en-US/Help/398b5eda-aa7f-4078-94c5-1519b697bfa01033.mspx#E6D.  Also, this means that Config does not support Remote Assistance on Vista: http://blogs.technet.com/smsandmom/archive/2008/08/07/configmgr-2007-remote-desktop-remote-control-does-not-work-with-windows-vista-clients.aspx. 

The two main options are to use Remote Tools (prefered) or launch Remote Assistance from a comannd-line: http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/blogs/netanelb/archive/2007/11/02/how-can-i-launch-windows-vista-remote-assistance-utility-from-a-command-line.aspx.
