After some digging, I found that the DCOM permissions were not correct on the Remote Tools DCOM objects. Administrators were denied every permission except Local Activation and the ConfigMgr Remote Control Users group was not listed in the permissions. The only fix I have found (besides tinkering with the DCOM permissions on all Remote Tools objects) is to use CCMClean to remove the client, wait a few minutes and then re-install the client. Has anyone else seen this or have another resolution that I can try? Also, we have no idea how many systems are affected. We only discover them when someone tries to remote and gets propmted for credentials.
