I created a new package for Defender with a program that contains the following string: MsiExec.exe /quiet /uninstall {A06275F4-324B-4E85-95E6-87B2CD729401}

ConfigMgr is reporting that the program ran successfully, but I'm getting reports from users that are now receiving the following error:
Windows Defender: Application failed to initialize: 0x800106ba. A problem caused this program's service to stop. To start the service, restart your computer or search Help and Support for how to start a service manually.

Restarting does nothing to correct the issue. How can I correctly remove Defender?

did you get that uninstall string from the registry? if you did it should work without any issues. check the pacage id in your uninstall string on more than one client. it could possibly be dig=fffrent from the one your using.

I got that string from the registry and from appdeploy.com. I just did a random check on a couple of PCs and it matches up.
