I know this question has been asked here before but I cant seem to find an definative answer.
Is there any know "Right Click" Tools out there to power up a SCCM Client without having to create an advertisment?

Actually...

I have seen alot of tools alot of forums and discussions, about Wake On Lan... But never ever i did not find something that works !!!

Neither in SCCM is not working... Wake On Lan.

I would be more than happy to find something that really works, and people tested it !

Regards,
Ridvan

If WOL is not enabled in the BIOS of the client, no amount of "right-click" tools will help you. Who is the manufacturer of th eclient? Dell? HP? IBM?

I have been working on this problem for awhile.  I have it half way completed.  My problem right now is to determine why some of servers will not allow me to watch the packet send.  A sniffer shows that it works though.  What I am doing is this:

Part One: Right click on a computer  /Collection.  The tool pulls the MAC and IP from inventory then sends both a unicast and directed packet.  The catch is that we can't send a WOL packet over our routers.  We have special machines that will receive an encrypted packet and then verify it before sending out a WOL to their subnet.
Part Two:  Watching to see when the SCCM server sends out its WOL packet.  Grab the destination and then use my "right click" program to again send both kinds of WOL to the correct secondary machine for sending.  Upon testing I found that some servers couldn't see the packet leaving so I am still working on it.

Well, what about just purchasing and using 1E's Wake-On-LAN product? http://www.1e.com/softwareproducts/1EWakeUp/index.aspx

I had previously asked them to make sure it worked with SCCM 2007 and this is what i got back...

"The latest version of 1E WakeUp does work fully with SCCM and does allow the same right click functionality as with SMS as well as the same Agent method of waking machines up which SCCM WOL is unable to provide. You can also register just the right click component on console machines or install the whole wakeup console."
