We are running SMS in our company. We have been using Henrik Zawischa's ReRunAdv.wsf (moderated a bit) for scripting us out of running SMS advertised programs on some of our windows clients.
The reason for this is to have some super users control when updates are installed (remotely, whitout getting access to SMS server) on some vital clients in our company.
Now we are switching to SCCM 2007 and we cannot use the same mechanism. Do you have any idea of how we can make some kind of scripting to have the super users run 'advertised programs' on the new SCCM environment? - are there some command line things that we can run?

To do this you need to create seperate collection and have different deployment templates.  One for autoinstall with deadline and the other with no deadline.
With no deadline the user will select the patches and their own time to install the patches.

Thanks for your answer, the problem is we just want to start the "tricker" and then automatic get all the updates installed with out user control, the problem is that we don't have access to the SCCM server, and we have to update about 700 manufacturing clients .
The script from Henrik Zawischa's was working perfect but after the server change we have problems starting the "tricker"
