SCCM 2012 Issues: Client check failures, SCEP updates, Patch Management

I have questions surrounding the subject.
 
Client Check failure
I have so many systems reporting failure for the client health check.
The most common error has to do with failure to recreate the client health check task (something about creating the client health check task is scheduled tasks), how can I resolve this issue. Also noticed this issue is common on windows xp sp3 and windows server 2003
 
SCEP
I have a high number of system failing to pull scep updates. the client settings is configured to do a daily software update scan and the antimalware policy requests definition updates every 4hrs.....what could be wrong?
 
Patch Management
 
Can someone help me with a quick walkthrough guide in patch managemnt in sccm 2012 and how to monitor software update deployment and specific reports for this purpose
 
 

I'd check the WUAhandler logs on some workstations and see where/if SCEP is able to connect or download the updates.
