SCCM Client Installation on 64-bit doesn't show in Control Panel

We have some new 64-bit XP systems that appears to have the SCCM client installed. When looking in the SCCM admin console, it shows the SCCM client installed. However, when logged onto the workstation, we don't see the Configuration Manager icon in Control Panel. Is this the standard behavior and how do we get the icon to show up? Am I correct that the installation of the sccm client goes goes into C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\CCM instead of the standard 32-bit location C:\WINDOWS\System32\CCM. Thx in advance for any help given.
