Status: offline 		In our organisation, We have disabled the Automatic Updates service on all Clients & Servers.

But when i deployment SCCM Client through Client push installation. It automatically enables the Automatic Updates service and went to start state.

Please let me know Whether SCCM 2007 require this service (Automatic Update Services)

Status: offline 		SCCM enabled the service and is managed by the SCCM client.  Of course if you have it disabled by a GPO that will take presidence and disable it on your PC when the policy is applied,

Consider this scenario, If i have GPO to disable the Automatic Update service. Will that affect any feature in SCCM 2007 like Client Push installation, Software Update & Software Distribution.

Status: offline 		it will not affect client push and software Distribuion, but it will affect Sofware Updates pushes.  See if this helps
