Does anyone know the threshold that tells SCCM what is a slow link boundary and what is a fast link? Is there a hack to change this setting? We have recently moved our SCCM server and something is causing it to think we have a slow link between the server location and our main office. This of course affects the advertisement settings. Typically we set computers within a fast link to run the advertisement from the distribution point, and computers within a slow link to cache locally then run the advertisement. However, with the current situation EVERY client is caching EVERY advertisement before running, which at least for us is less than desireable. Ping times from the SCCM server to 20 test workstations average 2ms, but from time to time can jump to 10ms - 14ms. Any thoughts are appreciated.
