Does anyone know the threshold that tells SCCM what is a slow link boundary and what is a fast link? Is there a hack to change this setting?

We have recently moved our SCCM server and something is causing it to think we have a slow link between the server location and our main office.  This of course affects the advertisement settings.  Typically we set computers within a fast link to run the advertisement from the distribution point, and computers within a slow link to cache locally then run the advertisement.  However, with the current situation EVERY client is caching EVERY advertisement before running, which at least for us is less than desireable.  Ping times from the SCCM server to 20 test workstations average 2ms, but from time to time can jump to 10ms - 14ms.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

It is a setting under Site Management, Site Settings, Boundaries and you define whether it's slow or fast under "Clients in this boundary communicate with the site by using a network that is: _ Slow or unreliable or _ Fast (LAN)."

Then when you create a package you can specify under Advertisements, under Distribution Points -
"When a client is connected within a fast (LAN) network boundary:
_ Run program from distribution point or
_ Download Content from distribution point and run locally
When a client is connected within a slow or unreliable network boundary:
_Do not run program
_Download content from distribution point and run locally"

Right, but that's the problem.  I have the boundaries set as Fast there, yet when I set an advertisement to run from the DP on a fast connection, and download for a slow connection... it downloads every time.  If I set both fast and slow connections to run from DP, then it runs from the DP.
