SCCM-scheduling the reboot of servers in a Depoyment Wednesday, October 12, 2016 1:28 AM (permalink)

My Client has come up with an requirement where they want to reboot the servers after monthly patching for a deployment in a sequential order.
I have also installed SCCM right click tools and I could see where I can schedule the reboot for the servers.
what is the best way to achieve this?

Fairly certain this is why maintenance windows were made...but if your looking for a job scheduler there are tons of solutions for that. SCORCH & SCSM, check out runbooks if you like powershell. Or a simple scheduled task....but you could build MW staggered exactly how the other teams want them.
