I'm looking for a way to customize some for the functionality for AI. For instance, when I run reports from the default installation I see that Flash Player 9 is listed as Unidentified. I would like to create a custom family/category so that Flash is listed as IE plugin or something like that.

I've looked through the SQL database and reports but I cannot seem to find where MS put these tables. There is plenty of into out there regarding this for SCCM, but nothing for us poor 2003 SP3 guys.

The reason you can't find much information is this because this type of edit isn't possible with SMS 2003. The data for each application (including catagory / family) is included in the fingerprint / hash.

They fixed this limitation in ConfigMgr with user customizable fields, etc.
