I'm trying to script (vbscript) setting up a new program, which I have done successfully, but I can't seem to figure out how to set the supported operating systems of that program. has anyone done this?

P.S. I've looked at the SMS SDK, which appears to provide samples, but they do not appear to work.

Do you have "SMS 2003 Recipes: A problem-Solution Approach" by Greg Ramsey & Warren Byle?  Chapter 5, section 5-8: Configuring Program Requirements, has this to say "The task of specifying a list of client platforms is a little more challenging.  You will have to create (or modify) an array of SMS_OS_Details to correctly create or modify such a list."

If you don't have this book yet, and you are trying to script solutions, you definitely are going to want to pick that up.

While I don't have the book, I do have the scripts that go with the book. There is a script to show you how to query the supported operating systems, but it doesn't show you how to add to them. Does the book show this? I'd be happy to buy the book if it did, but I don't want to buy it if it only has the information included in the script.

There isn't an exact example of creating the array, no.
