Is anyone out there scripting any part of the SCCM console tasks using VBScript? For example, building collections, building packages, creating advertisements, importing computer information, etc...? If so, do any of you have any pointers to real-world sample code or other resources?

I've coded things against SMS 2003 in the past, but haven't jumped into coding against SCCM just yet, so I thought I'd put up a post here to see what real-world information might turn up before I go get my feet wet.

Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

I have found that my scripts for collections, packages, programs, advertisements, etc. worked with my old scripts.  Many of the client features no longer work, as the client has changed.

Here's an example of creating queries via Powershell

I need to create a whole bunch of collections, so I'll be automating that pretty soon and plan to blog that script as well.
