I have 2 deployment points setup + my origianl LAB distribution point, and when i do "UPDATE" or " UPDATE FILES" the scripts folder is not replicated to either of the deployment points.

This actually seems to prevent the process from starting properly once booted into WinPE, as i enter username and password then i see the installation progress dialogue briefly, which says "Gather Local Only", and then the process halts and stops at the shell window.

If i manually copy the contents of the scripts folder from the distribution point to the deployment point, things seem to work.

Why is this happening, and is this normal, or should i have some other connection detail in my bootstrap or customsettings that allow the scripts to be run from the distribution point?

Are you using BDD or MDT?

What type of deployment points do you have? When you create a new DP you have about 4 choices...

And have you tried manually deleting the contents of a DP and then running an UPDATE to update it with new content to make sure it's working correctly?
