All of our Vista SP1 PCs are rejecting the security patch programs we send out. The message is "Program Rejected (wrong platform)". What version of SMS and ITMU support security patching for Vista SP1? We are runnning ITMU version 2.50.3617.1000 and SMS version 2.50.4253.3000.

Do you have your packages requirements set to allow only a specific OS? If so you will need to install this hotfix to have Vista Sp1 added to the list. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/939332.

When I apply this hotfix I get this error:

Setup could not verify the integrity of the file Update.inf. Make sure the Cryptographic service is running on this computer.

That service is running. Does anyone know what causes ths error?
