Should Gateway Server also have Agent installed?

I have the Gateway Server client installed on one of our servers in another domain, but wanted to know if I should also install the agent? 

I was told the Gateway Server client also acts as the Agent - but not sure of this source.

This is the case. The Gateway server also acts as the client on that machine. If you are looking for reassurance check the agent heath in the monitoring pane.

Status: offline 		The RMS also includes the agent side of things so you shouldn't install the agent on that either.

If you seperate your reporting server from your RMS this will need an agent but make sure your reporting is working first before ou deploy this agent.
