Software Inventory not updating for Client - 6/4/2008 3:23:47 PM

I have a workstation that I'm able to push packages to, but it will not update the SMS server w/ it's current Software Inventory. I see "Success" and "Failure" in the client's InventoryAgent.log file. It is running the latest SMS SP3 client associated w/ Microsoft KB #941214. See an excerpt from the log below. Let me know if you need to see more.

Guys,

Either I'm stumping all of you, or I'm not giving anyone enough information to help me identify my issue. What else can I provide so someone could help me troubleshoot this? My only recourse is to re-image this guy's computer (which I don't want to do).

So this is the only machine that you're seeing this on? This isn't a widespread problem?

Well, before re-imaging the guy's computer, you could at least try repairing/rebuilding WMI. It looks like it's having a problem adding data to WMI. Have you recently turned on service state capture in the sms_def.mof? If so the MOFCOMP of the current mof may not have worked right and you may need to do it again on this box (or all of them if it's widespread). Or it may just be that WMI is a little hosed.

Once you get it working, does the machine have the latest WMI stability backports?
