Hi, I have SCCM 2007 SP1 and WSUS 3.0 SP1 installed on the same server and the server is on a network that has no connection to Internet. I have additional WSUS 3.0 SP1 server on a different network that has Internet connection. I export metadata and copy package data from this server to this SCCM server in another network using wsusutil.exe. Here's the process how to do it: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb680473(TechNet.10).aspx This works fine. SCCM management console sees updates after it has done it's synchronization. However here's the problem I have: When I create a deployment package from my update list the wizard at some point asks whether I want to download software updates from the Internet or download software updates from a location on the local network. Which one is the right choice for me? Download from the Internet gives an error since I don't have connection to the Internet and I don't have any location on my network where I manually have downloaded the updates. And as far as I understand the data is already in there since it's exported from a WSUS server that has downloaded it from the Internet already. Do You have this kind of environments and problems? And maybe a solution? Thank You in advance! Nice forum and great posts!
