HELP! I'm completely at my wits end! I work for a library system and we subscribe to several online databases. After upgrading our public computers to IE7 there is a one particualar search query that can be done in one particular database that will no longer work. The good people at the company whom have said database are no help whatsoever. I do know all our staffs computers work perfectly fine with this this function so this really perplexs me to no end now. What I get is when doing this particular search is..... Error Occured Type Mismatch Page: http://www.(domain name of crappy database company/crap/crap.asp?si=crapcrapcrapcrap) Line # 3753 All this worked prior to upgrading from IE6. The only.... and I mean only two things I've managed to find that will fix it is either A: uninstall IE7 and revert back to 6 (not so much an option) B: Use that RIES button in the control panel (also not so much an option ala we have ALOT of computers that this would need to be done on) I'm thinking there has GOT to be a way something can be done system wide either by GPO or some sort of script.... a patch I don't know about that can be deployed. Something! I'm hoping somebody out there has some input on what could cause this and maybe point me in the right direction.
