Hello - In our environment we need to be able to report on the local computer groups to see what/how groups are configured.

For example we want to know if a specific domain group belongs to the local administrator group on a client system. Is there a way to utilize SCCM to gather this data for client systems?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Just make sure you grab the ConfigMgr MOF Snippets; not the dataldr scripts.  Inside the snippet zip file is a section on setting up pulling local admin stuff with Configmgr (it's a bit different than w/SMS2003)

Thanks Skissinger.. I just noticed that myself. I am new to this type of customization.

Is there an easy guild somewhere on how to implement this.

I'm not going to call it "easy", but here's a beginning, which hopefully (maybe) alleviates some of the mystery.  Let me know, of course, if all it does is confuse you more.

I was able to get it working but i did have an issue. I also need it to work for Vista and Windows 2003/2008

from what I read you have to add the WSID to the MOF file and compile locally. Is there any more automated way to make it work on these OS types?
