Guys,
How do you compare WDS on Windows 2003 Server to other imaging solutions such as Altiris or from Symantec (Ghost)?

The number one differentiator is cost. WDS is free. Also, have you check out the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/solutionaccelerators/bb963909.aspx. Another big differentiator is that MDT, which uses WDS, is more than just imaging. It is a whole toolkit to create, cusomtize and deliver an OS and applications to a system in multiple scenarios including migrations and upgrades.
