Hello, I am testing a rollout of XP SP3 to a variety of machines, there is no standard build at this establishment an, as such a high % of machines are losing WMI functionality after the upgrade.

I have tried all methods of rebuilding the WMI but to no avail.

Basically this means I cannot get accurate info on a machine post install

Anyone come across this issue?

I have resolved this issue, our firewall service is disabled via GPO and should prevent the firewall from running, however this was not always the case and a manual disabling of the firewall resolved the issue
