We have decided (almost) to go with SCCM with WSUS as our method of distributing windows updates. We are relatively small and have been using SCCM only to manage our workstations. Since the SCCM client needs to be installed, it means we need to install it on all our servers that we want to patch. Any tips specific to servers? Is there any way to limit what the clients do, like disable to ability to push software to certian servers? Any other usefull information?

Thanks

Best thing to do would just be to segment your servers so they're not included with the desktop deployments.  Use the "All Windows Server Systems"and "All Windows XP Systems" collections respectively.  Or if you really want to segregate them, you could create a parent-child relationship with two sites and put the servers and desktops in separate sites.  This way you could even disable some of the client functions that you're not using on the servers.
