WinPE 3.0 for BDD 2007

Hi I would like to know if we can upgrade WinPE 2.0 to WinPE 3.0 without upgrading the existing BDD 2007 infrastructure. If this can be done, the procedure to achieve this would be helpful. If it cannot be done without moving to MDT, any supporting MS KB article would help. Thanks, Kunal

Unsupported, BDD 2007 doesn't support Windows 7 to begin with. There is no reason to use WinPE 3.0 with BDD 2007. If you are still on BDD 2007, you seriously need to upgrade, you are 2 major release behind. MDT 2008 and MDT 2010 are both out, and MDT 2012 is in beta right now.

MDT is still the better solution for XP. However, if you don't want to upgrade to MDT, and you currently have a working BDD solution in place, why are you considering a newer version of WinPE? There must be something (functionality) in WinPE 3.0 that you're wanting. What's your ultimate goal?
