HI,

I would like to add the network drivers, video card drivers and sound card drivers in my image which I have created with SCCM2007.

Can someone please let me know how I can do this?

What is the difference between drivers and drivers packages?

thanks/George

Hi,

You can add the drivers via Task Sequence to your image.

Under drivers you have all the drivers you have imported.

Driver packages can be a group of drivers that you have created. For instance all drivers of an Lenovo T61

Hi,

I am obtaining the following error message when trying to create adriver package:

Error: Some driver(s) can not be imported successfully. Please see following details.
Error: Failed to import the following drivers:

\\{server name}\Software\drivers\Dell T3400\XP 32bit\R161008 nic\Win2K_XP\b57win32.inf - ConfigMgr cannot import the specified driver. Verify that the driver exists in the specified location and that the SMS Provider computer has Read permissions to the specified shared folder.
Add drivers to the following packages:

t3400 nic
Packages will be updated on distribution points.
Add drivers to the following boot images:

Boot image (x64)
Boot image (x86)
Boot images will be updated on distribution points.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The permissions appear to be fine on the folder.

thanks for your help /George
