I'm trying to install 2005 Ent. on a W2K8 Enterprise virtual machine. For some bloody reason the damn installation routine tells me I don't have enough disk space to install to a drive that has 19GB of free space!!!  WTF?!?! It's as if it just won't install to any drive other than C which does not have enough free space. So why won't it recognize/install to E: (the drive with 19Gb free space)?

Did you tell it to install to E: during the install process?

Yep. but discovered the issue isn't an issue so much as a PITA. You have ot tell not only the database components where to install, but also the Analysis components as well. That was the "issue". It went to install the separate components and bombed out on the AS install because that was pointed to C:, not E:. thanks.
