Data Warehouse Extract Jobs not being generated

Data Warehouse Extract Jobs not being generated - Friday, May 13, 2011 2:42 PM

Environment:  SCSM 2010 Server (SCSM 2010 SP1 installed), Server 2008 R2 SP1, Mgmt Group Name - "SCSM Mgmt Group"  SCSM 2010 DW Server (SCSM 2010 SP1 installed), Server 2008 R2 SP1, Mgmet Group Name - "DW_SCSM"  All dbs on a remote SQL Server 2008 R2 server installed on Server 2008 R2 SP1. SSRS on this server as well. Microsoft.EnterpriseManagement.Reporting.Code.dll copied to appropriate SRS directory and rssrvpolicy.config file modified as per SCSm Deployment Guide.  Registered SCSM with SCSM DW via the SCSM console. MPSyncJob and Extract_DW_SCSM jobs are visible in console, But Extract_SCSM Mgmt Group is not. 26 Managment Packs are visible inthe Details of the MPSyncJob all with the data Source of DW_SCSM. All but two are "Associated"  Looking at the Operations Manager Event log on the SCSM DW server, two errors are repeating:  Event 33553 - Source: Data Warehouse The requested workitem ( ProcessCategory=Extract, Process=Extract_SCSM Mgmt Group) could not be handed out to healthservice.  AND  Event 33333 - Source: DataAccessLayer Data Access Layer rejected retry on SqlError: Request: GetWorkItem -- (ProcessCategoryName=Extract), (ProcessName=Extract_SCSM Mgmt Group), (RETRUN_VALUE=-1) Class: 16 Number: 50000 Message: Invalid ProcessName Extract_SCSM Mgmt Group   No related errors appear in the SCSM Server Operation Mangager Event Log.   I have done several SCSM installs prior to this, but this is the first time I have struggled with the DW job creations.    Any insight into these errors and their solution?   Thanks!   Dale

Hi have seen this error before, you need to make sure that you have follows the manual steps to configure the sql reporting server located in the dataware house installation document.
