some users in SEPM console switch to user mode

Dear All, I am having this issue for some time but never gave importance since things were working fine Some days back I noticed that when I moved a particular client which was in user mode to another group i did see there were about 10 more entries with the name as same different logon user /computer, different ip and different mac If i had to right click or delete one of the user n switch him ti computer mode all the other users disappear from the group and its fine with only the few users which r in computer mode if I change the group and open the group again same things happen that is I see the 10 more entries again I am using 12.1.1 MP1 appreciate your kind help regards simon

Hi Simon, I've not seen this myself but it almost sounds like the client checking back in is causing the entries to re-appear or the group is reverting back to User Based rather than computer based. There was a fix in MP1 around User Mode and only registering group changes once the UI was opened. It might be worth deleting the entries again and then get the client to check in via "Update Policy" and then see if anything changes on your SEPM to try and track down what's causing it? Feel free to PM me a screenshot if you want that shows the issue, I can test on my test system and see if I can re-create it :) Regards Alan

Thanks ALan.. so kind of you for your reply I will check that out and let you know By the way I have just upgraded my SEPM 11.6 to latest 12.1RU1 MP1 and everything went smooth no issues at all I will try to upgrade a few client to the latest client too and hope too everything goes fine thnks once again regards simon
