Exporting queries\collection
-
Monday, June 04, 2012 2:41 PM
I'm unable to find any way to export query results or collection membership from the CM12 console (the export option only prompts to export a .MOF file of the query\collection rules). Has anyone found a way to easily do this? Thanks!

For collection results\membership, I think you can just highlight them all and hit copy. For exporting a collection, you don't have Export as an option when you right click? I do.

The export option on collections doesn't seem to allow me to export a list of the collection members, but rather only a .MOF of the collection rules.

Right. For that part I think you have to right click to show members, then highlight and copy.

I haven't played too much with the 2012 console but there might "view" if select then right click the collection and it should show "Export list" in the menu.

Thanks, but that's not really the same thing as the export that was available in CM2007 (lack of header row, for example). I was hoping that the true export feature was still available somewhere, but (unfortunately) it seems to have been removed
