Looking for some help setting up migration from 2007 to 2012

 I am in the process of migrating our 2007 SCCM to 2012... I have the server up with the SUP and the database functioning. I am at the point in the migration where I have just set the source hierarchy and got the credentials configured and the 1st stage of the process to work. I hvae my site code from the 2007 site and basic data located... it is when I go to the Share Distribution Point  and run that... it fails... same thing all the time... unknown errors listed in the migmctrl.log I am not exactly sure where to find the correct data I need to find out what the error is. This is the only error messages I can find

then at the very bottom of the log I get this strange error:

Any HELP would be appreciated... lol

Ok... it appears that it is a sharing issue.. I can deselect the option to Enable distribution point sharing for the 2007 site server ... and it shows successful in the data gathering process... I am just not able to share the 2007 location....I have double checked permissions to all DP's and database... and everything seems fine. But I know we have been having issues with various deployments both separate and in the task sequence. These seem to be permissions related as well but looking at all permissions levels... it all looks fine. So I have narrowed it down to the 2007 sharing of the dp that is failing. Anyone have any ideas on what to look for next?
