vsccm -> Management Point fails, even after reinstall of that role (4/11/2008 3:06:59 AM)

hey , when trying to install SCCM for multiple days now, everything seems to be ok except the management point When I take a look at "Site System Status" all roles are OK but the management point role has failed. I tried to reinstall it, but that didn't make a difference. Ireviewed my logs and that came upwith the following : in the "configmgr status message viewer" , there is an error that says : MP Control Manager detected management point is not responding to HTTP requests. The HTTP status code and text is 500, Internal Server Error. I can not install any clients via push as long as the management point isn't working correct and on the side of the client this is what the logs tell me : clientlocation.log > all fine > current management point is xeon.domain.local > correct locationservices.log > all seems to be OK clientIDManagerStartup.log > client cannot register <![LOG[RegTask: Client is not registered. Sending registration request...]LOG]!><time="11:27:48.010+-120" date="04-07-2008" component="ClientIDManagerStartup" context="" type="1" thread="3760" file="regtask.cpp:1434"> <![LOG[RegTask: Failed to send registration request message. Thanks for reading
