I am stuck, I have a PXE service point defined to a server that died. I cannot remove the PXE server point, the error is:

This PXE service point contains packages. Remove all packages from the PXE service point before removing the PXE service point role from this site system.

Anyone have any ideas on how to take care of this?

Have you gone and removed your boot images from the SMSIMAGE$ distribution point?  There are apparently package on that distribution point which must be removed before the role will uninstall.
