Hi, A few days ago we migrated upgraded our SQL 2005 server to new hardware. During this process our SMS 2003 SP3 database was migrated across. I have read a document release by Microsoft that states the setup wizard needs to be run again to Modify or reset the current database. Although when I run through this wizard I receive the following error. "cannot insert the site control image to the database". Does anyone know what I should do from this point to get around this error? Thanks.

Are you running the site repair wizard or from the add/remove programs option?

Yes I am going to add remove programs and selecting change for SMS then I am selecting "modify or reset the current installation". A message appears stating that nothing has changed with the installation, "would you like to continue the reset?". I selected yes at this point. It appears to be running through the process but after a few moments I get the error message.

What does your smssetup.log file says ????
