We are about to implement the CITRIX MP for SCOM 2007 and from what I have been reading, it is not worth the effort.  Has there been any updates or any experienced positive results with implementing this management pack.

I would agree. If you're using the current crop of management tools from Citrix, you won't find much added value in the MP. Of course, it would give you the opportunity to roll those alerts up into a Distributed App is you so chose.

Not sure if this helps but there was a problem with the current Citrix MP,
There is a problem with the CitrixSessionDown.js script that can be fixed by creating a system variable on the citrix server  %SystemDirectory% = %Systemroot%\system32  check out this post http://support.citrix.com/forums/thread.jspa?forumID=123&threadID=96745
