Hi,

I have no problems installing PCs to clients attached to my central server.

I install my PCs via MDT and SCCM task sequences.

When I want to install a PC connected to one of my Primary servers I get all the time that
no task sequence is available.

What do I miss here?

I have created a collection on the primary - imported my task sequence from the central to the primary and
advertised it to the collection.

If I associate a PC to that collection - a record gets created with the site code of the Primary server.

So everything looks good nevertheless no TS.

Any idea?

Could it be a site boundary issue?

But what I would like to hear of someone what's the best way to deploy OSD images down the hierarchy.

Imagine that everything is configured on the central server (MDT, database, sequences,...) but you want to install PCs assigned to Primary sites.

What do you do?

of course Copy down all the necessary stuff

but then?

where do you create the task sequences?
where do you create the collections with the advertised TS linked to it?
Does MDT needs to be installed on each primary server?
