Hi Everyone
We have 1 primary site and 2 secondary sites. I tried to install sccm on one of the secondary sites and it continously fails to install the MP. I've tried over several days. Even went as far as to format the server, reinstall everything. Same thing. What's weird is that there are no logfiles for the MP installation. Everything else installs perfectly. This is what i've tried thus far:
· We checked all configurations on the primary and secondary site server · MP logs are not creating. · The IIS Default Web site is working fine · The necessary ports are open between primary and secondary site · DNS/WINS has no problems – name resolution is fine · Virtual directories are created in IIS · referred http://support.microsoft.com/?id=812614 - "Default permissions and user rights for IIS 6.0" - Checked Default permissions on IIS · We don’t have any WMI/DCOM errors · Uninstalled MP, IIS on secondary server · Reinstalled IIS with BITS, WEBDAV, ASP, and WWW · Enabled MP – Still same issue · For a test, we ran the MP.MSI manually then it completed successfully but without any logs. · Removed MP role from secondary - No change · Unable to browse MP Test URLs · Install MP.msi package manually · Checked Hman and sender.log after enabling MP - No process tracke
Am I missing something? I've really hit a dead street here and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the site numerous times. Can anyone please point me in the right direction?
