skrummen -> SCCM SP1 Direct Membership bug? (6/23/2008 4:17:27 PM)
|
Has anyone else seen this? I am currently testing/creating a new SCCM site. I am configuring the site fresh and not as an upgrade to my SMS2003 sites. I am finding that as I try to create a direct membership collection and type the computer names to jump down the list that it is automatically selecting the systems to be added to the collection. In SMS2003 you could do this and then hit the space bar to select the client to be added to the collection. This makes it difficult to jump down the list in the Create Direct Membership Rule Wizard without selecting clients that should not included in the collection. It also takes each key selected as a new variable/resource instead of jumping down the list for similar spelled clients. So if you wanted to select a computer named "CARSON" for example. you type "C" it jumps down the list and automatically selects the first computer that begins with the letter "c" and then you type "A" and it jumps back up the list and automatically selects the first computer that begins with "A" and so on. I am working with Microsoft to have this checked as a possible issue/bug but wanted to see if anyone else has noticed or could confirm that it doesn't seem correct. I haven't seen any KB articles on this yet in my searches. Thanks. Shane.
