swood -> How long will it take to replicate collections from a parent to a child? (6/25/2008 6:31:23 PM)

I just attached a child Primary to my Central site and within 10 minutes I saw my Packages get replicated down but I still don't seem my custom collections or advertisements after 4 hours. Should they replicate down or do I need to manually create them?

They should just replicate down.  Any errors in the logs or site status?  Or perhaps something simple... like refreshing the console branch, or exiting the console & going back in?

I've let it bake overnight and they still are not showing up in my child site. I've refreshed the console and still nothing.

I've dug into the objreplmgr.log on the child Primary and there are some failures in there that may lead to some sort of SQL auth issue...

The parent is not replicated down yet. Need wait.

Error InitializeObjectFromReplBlob from file D:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Configuration Manager\inboxes\objmgr.box\INCOMING\DA1_800.MEM.

Failed to process replicated file D:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Configuration Manager\inboxes\objmgr.box\INCOMING\DA1_800.MEM. The SMS object return - 0x80004005

Failed to get Object from replication file.

I'll research these to see what I can find......

Hi Sandy,
Did you ever resolve this issue as I'm having a very similar, if not exact problem.

Regards,
SB
