Anybody using Silect CP Studio for DCM rule creation? We are looking at it and wanted to see if anybody else has checked it out. Likes, dislikes, etc... Thanks

Absolutely wonderful product. I have been using CP Studio for several months and love it. In fact I have a great doc on managing the life cycle of the DCM templates using CP Studio if you are interested I would be happy to share. The one down side about the product (At least for right now) is that I cannot select GPO's natively. (Meaning I cannot select an applied template in the local GPO DB store. That being said you can do RSOP which is pretty close. I found that with Vista in particular there are alot of hidden and protected files that th scan does not find but with a little extra effort you can usually locate them. Outside of those items I think it is great. Beats having to do all the XML code.

Silect Software has added GPO support to their CP Studio product. A new setting (actually a group of settings) can be added to a CI by scanning an existing system and simply selecting which of the existing policies you would like to include in the baseline.
