Hi All

Is there perhaps a way (e.g. script or something) that one can use to automatically configure and deploy proxy exchange (rpc over http) for Outlook (2003/2007) on clients using SCCM (and not GP)?

I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks :)

You can do this with a tranform file. In Office 2007 you run "setup.exe /admin" to run the Office Customization Tool (offhand can't remember how to do it in Office 2003, but it is an option). From there you can completely customized the Office 2007 installation including setting the rpc over http setting.

That should be all you need to get it done, but if you need more info, you can refer to this post on my blog that gives more detail about running a silent install of Office 2007.

Thanks Javis. I will give it a try! :)
