Public Key Error in Mixed Mode Site

I'm seeing the errors such as this under the SMS_MP_CONTROL_MANAGER: MP has rejected a message from client GUID:065A05B8-388A-4CE5-9C2A-FD376939A1AF because it was signed with a public key that does not match the key published in the database. I'm running a mixed mode site. Does anyone have any idea why I might see this?
