HELP!

OK.  So i've installed ITMU. Downloaded the cab file from the MS site and placed it on the D: drive.

Everything seems to be working great until I try to push the updates.
It tries to download the updates from the MS site still.....

I have a WSUS server that is functioning and it getting it's catalog and updates from a secured site off post.
Shouldn't ITMU attempt to copy the patches from the WSUS server?

Maybe I don't have the theory correct.

Any comments to get me started in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

ITMU grabs patches from MS and puts them on the server for distribution.  That is the nature of how it works and it is the limitation of ITMU.  Now SCCM uses WSUS so these things are fixed.

This is true but you can manually import each hot fix into ITMU, just as you would have to for WSUS.
