dprosko -> Agility Framework v2.3.100.5 (9/17/2008 1:16:51 PM)

I just upgraded WakeUp and the Agility Framework (including the wakeup product pack) to the current versions.  However, the AFConsole is providing any results.  Workstations are appearing the 1E Health collections and I can view the Client Health results via the SMS 2003 console.

I figure there is a disconnect somewhere between the AFConsole and SQL but SQL profiler shows stored procedures being run when I refresh a AFConsole report.

Hi Dave,

Upgrading of the Nightwatchman product packt "in-place" does not recreate the SQL Agent jobs.
The best course of action is to uninstall the Product pack again and reinstall it.

The good news is that NO data is lost, it's just waiting to be processed.

Also make sure the SQL AGENT itself is running.... it is "the little engine  that could" responsible for sucking in the data from the clients and stuffing it into the AFR db.

Thanks for responding guys.

The process I used to upgraded the 1E WakeUp was to uninstall the product pack, agility framework, SMSwakeup,  then install the new versions of Agility framework, product pack, 1E Wakeup.

SQL agent is running.   Data is getting to the database.  I check the tables.

that being the case, and all installs went well, and agents are properly configured to turn health on (WakeUp); and reportinjg/reportingserver is on/set properly, AND agents have been deployed long enough to actually start reporting data (minimum of 24 hrs I'd say) AND lastly the SQL Agent node, JOBS folder has the 6 scheduled jobs present (3ea WU and NWM), AND that you can manually run the jobs from SQL Studio and see SUCCESS...

if by then you still see no data in any of your WU or NWM repoerts, its time to call support cuz there's bigger issues at play here.

"6 scheduled jobs present"

I only have:
1E WakeUp, Process summaries
1E WakeUp, Grooming
1E WakeUp, Update config items
Groom SQLdmRepository

this means you dont have the NWM Product Pack installed... if you do, uninst/reinst...

you should also be able to start each job and run to a "SUCCESS" status... R-click, Start Job at Step... then <START> to kick off at Step One

You also said data was getrting INTO the db (you checked the tables), but you see nothing when you run a report?

Sounds like its time to call Support.

I have a call into 1E, just waiting to hear from them.

Do I still need the NightWatchMan product pack if NightWatchMan is not installed?

I just have WakeUp.

Nope - you're set if WU is all you have. The fact you're seeing CliHealth results in the SMS/SCCM console tells a lot... the data is indeed there, nbut you're having solely AFR report rendering issues...
