khoyle -> Unable to enable any AD discovery (9/23/2008 7:42:26 AM)
|
All, We currently have a box up with vmware installed. Two machines at the moment, one running AD, DNS, DHCP etc (svr2003) and another running SCCM 2007, SQL 2005 (svr2003). Everything seems to be setup and configured OK, AD is working, as is SCCM, we have allowed full control to AD system container via the SCCM hostname, and it has created the Systems Mangement container. We have also extended the schema. All this was successful. However, when we come to enable ANY of the AD discovery modes within SCCM, we get an error message listed below.... ConfigMgr : Cannot connect to the active directory container you specified - Container : LDAP://DC=virtualdomain,DC=net Container either does not exist or could not be found. We are able to log into the domain on the SCCM box and everything seems to be intergrated OK. Do you guys have any ideas, im guessing its something majorly simple ive just missed off. Cheers
