Or.Tsemah -> WOL Question (9/25/2008 7:05:53 AM)

Hi
I have an issue where about half of my computers (Mostly Lenovo)'s NICs are configured to WOL at port 9, but the other half (Mostly HP) are configured to port 7, where SCCM only support one port (Default is 9)

Is there a way to use Both ports without having the Flash half of my company NICs ?

Thanks.

Or.

Didnt think NICs were port specific when recieving WOL packates.

I couldnt get WOL to work on the default port(9) so I changed it to 12287 which my cmdline WOL tool uses & wala it worked.

Im now using 1E wakeup With SCCM for WOL as this can work across subnets.

Yes, but my company computers uses 2 kinds of NICS, so changing that one port in the server isn't going to work
I wonder if there's a way to send WOL Packats on Two ports simultaniously ?
